If God did indeed leave crumbs behind to tell us where we were and where we are headed; they would be the stars.
That their relationship is reciprocal; in that their influences affect us and in turn we, on this world, influence all around us.
They do not dictate our path because we are that powerful. We are all of us a force to be challenged, and quite capable of making decisions for ourselves.
But we are also governed by a grand design that, we have to admit, is quite provocative.
To believe in our potential as people, what we are capable: it is beyond magnificent or any exclamation of praise.
To grow from our faults, neglect the urge to look-down upon them or to find them in others, regardless the level of their poignant disgrace, shame, and ugliness.
Perhaps it’s the reason the heavens are so vast. To allow us time. The same time it took for its light to reach us. A reminder of patience: what we lack and what we are to acquire.
It is a grand design. One that when we look up, or in ourselves, we are reminded: to believe in myself, always, means I believe in us.
